First Visit

Your initial visit will be a consultation to determine your diagnosis and review your treatment options. In some cases, treatment may be performed on the same day as the consultation. However, if you have a complex medical history or require specialized care, we may schedule treatment for a separate appointment following your evaluation.

What to Bring

To help us prepare for your visit, please bring the following:

  • Your referral slip and any applicable X-rays
  • A current list of medications you are taking
  • Dental insurance information and documentation, if applicable (to help us expedite claim processing)

Note: A parent or legal guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18.

Medical Considerations

Please inform our office prior to your appointment if you have any of the following:

  • A medical condition that may affect treatment (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial joints or heart valves, rheumatic fever)
  • Current use of medications such as blood thinners, aspirin, or heart medications
  • A need for pre-medication prior to dental procedures (e.g., antibiotics for certain heart conditions or joint replacements)

Radiographs (X-rays)

If your referring dentist has taken recent radiographs (within the last month), please have them forwarded to our office before your appointment. If time does not permit, you may bring them with you. Please note that additional radiographs may be necessary and can be taken at our office during your visit.
