There isn't another Endodontist that I will ever trust my care to after Dr. Merchant. Dr Merchant was referred by my dentist, but I tried another that was in my PPO first. Huge mistake! It felt like a dental factory. After my first visit with Dr Merchant and his staff, I knew this was the right place for me. Having a root canal is stressful enough, but this was an existing one that failed. Dr Merchant carefully went over my options and with his skill, and state of the art equipment, he was able to save my tooth and correct the matter with far less discomfort than I ever imagined possible. My regular dentist recommended that I see Dr. Merchant about pain that did not have an obvious reason. It needed further exploration. Dr. Merchant acted on one possible cause and did a simple procedure. My pain had stopped by the time I left the office after a short visit. The pain has not returned. I was pleased that Dr. Merchant chose the least complicated procedure. If my pain does return, I will return to the office to see what the next step should be.

Dr. Merchant is a professional whose judgement I trust. When it wasn't clear by imaging or exam which tooth was truly the source of my discomfort and the pain had significantly subsided by the appointment, Dr. Merchant was very comfortable offering 'watchful waiting' (allowing more time for the source of the pain to declare itself). This approach made a lot of sense to me as it avoided performing an unnecessary root canal. It was obvious to me that he was more interested in 'doing no harm' and 'doing the right thing' than in just doing a procedure for which he is expertly trained. I would definitely recommend him to others. I've had a TON of dental work done on my teeth that eventually leads to more issues. About a year and a half ago, Dr. Merchant redid a prior root canal that had been done by someone else many years ago that was apparently incomplete and resulted in a chronic infection. The problem is now resolved thanks to Dr. Merchant!

The Most Relaxing Root Canals! (I had two here within a couple months) Practically painless. Such a gentle team who saw me as soon as I needed. One of them was an emergency and Dr. Merchant saw me the same day. Dr. Merchant also returned my call on a weekend. Love this place for when Care is needed.
